Buff Terracotta PAPER CLAY is based on a terracotta clay with the addition of cellulose fibres to the clay make it much stronger and more forgiving than normal clay.

This clay is extremely strong in the unfired state, making it suitable for use as an air drying clay. For air drying clay, apply a sealant or paint the dry clay with acrylic paint.

This clay can also be kiln fired. Extremely good clay for schools.

Fires a soft terracotta depending on temperature. Fine Grog (0.5 mm) for slab work.

• Bisque to 1100ºc
• Glaze fire to 1250ºc

Fires a warm terracotta to warm brown depending on temperature.
