Clay • BWF Mid Fire/Stoneware

BROWN FIRING CLAY. 

Extremely good throwing clay. Warm brown speckle colour in reduction (gas), buff in oxidation (electric).   Clay body has a relatively low shrinkage rate and excellent colour response to make it a suitable body for gas/wood firing. Good results also from electric fired kilns. Normal stoneware glazes can be used.
