Clay • Laguna B-3 Brown Clay (Cone 5, Mid fire)

Laguna B-3 Brown Clay a pliable clay with smooth grog, and gets its colour from manganese and iron.

It is excellent for tile, hand building and throwing.

Fired to Cone 5, has an absorption rate of 3%, and a shrinkage rate of 10%.

When wet, it is red/brown in colour, and fires brown/black in oxidation or black in reduction.
