ON THE DAY
Setup & Pack-up - 20 min prior & 15 min. after.
Event studio use - Exclusive use for duration of the booked event.
We no longer offer catering, however you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks
Tools & Materials - All tools and materials are included.
Event host - 1 host for up to 15 attendees (some projects may require extra help - we will advise prior to event).
INVITATIONS
We'll provide a .pdf soft copy of our invitation template upon booking, that you can edit with your party information and email to your invitees.
Hard copies are available for pickup form ML upon request.
WHAT TO WEAR
Remember to ask your guests to wear mess-friendly comfortable clothes and shoes to your event!
GREEN
We do our best to be a ‘green’ venue, therefor ask for your help in limiting the use of disposable plastics used for parties.
We provide (free of charge) a range of items to make this easier for you.
Note: These will be cleaned by Maker’s Loft staff after the party.
If you do choose to bring 'single use' plastics, we ask that you take these with you after the party and dispose of them yourself.
NOTE: Due to Covid-19 we are a little more understanding if you would prefer to use single use plates and cups (biodegradable is the way to go ;)) and we recommend no share bowls of food to prevent cross contamination.
FINAL NUMBER & FINAL PAYMENT
We ask for final numbers of people we should expect for your party by the Monday prior to your party.
If only a party deposit has been paid, the balance is due prior to your party. If numbers have changed since time of booking we can adjust your balance invoice.
STUDENT'S BEHAVIOUR
We ask all students to respect Maker's Loft's property.
For maximum fun and for safety reasons we ask for there to be no running, climbing on furniture, touching non allocated craft tools and materials.
Maker’s Loft reserves the right to ask the student to leave the premises as a result of lack of respect.
CANCELATIONS & RESCHEDULING
Event Bookings may be canceled or rescheduled two weeks (or more) prior to the event.
We do not offer refunds on your deposit. However a credit of your deposit can be issued if re-scheduling an event. Credits must be used within three months of your original booking.
